General statistics for categories of movable elements (items)

So far there have been a total of 62 items and 571 q-items recovered from excavated features in J3. The majority of these items were either lithic artifacts (43%) or clay artifacts (34%). See table below:

     This table lists 633 items; however, the Typological Index lists 637 after the pottery (ceramic vessels that are separately accounted for) have been subtracted out. This discrepancy (4) occurs because item aggregates, consisting of groups of items already classified, have independently been assigned their own classification.

     Small numbers of items are independently analyzed by specialists. These include seal impressions in glyptics, human remains in physical anthropology, and soil samples in botany.
