Stratigraphy

Phase 9p (stratum 10) documents various recent activities on the tell surface or on features already exposed. One example is the berms that we construct with backdirt to protect the excavations from water damage over the winter. Another is a hole (f367) dug by a fox into the just-excavated mudbrick wall of a Late Chalcolithic structure.
