Stratigraphy

Phase 7f (s180) are the early-Mittani soil accumualtions exavated to the west of the stones of the second apron, which they undoubted also underlie. The dating has been problematical. The few identified ceramics in the accumulations excavated are Late Chalcolithic. They top the EDIII glacis. We hypothesize that the accumulations built up in Mittani times and the ceramics within came from deteriorating LC structures above or from pits dug into and through the EDIII glacis.

Typology

Those ceramics recovered from these layers were from the Late Chalcolithic period. The most important items were LC3 seal impressions (example: i14) recovered from accumulation f252.
