This section includes abstracts of publications dealing, wholly or in part, with Urkesh. The abstracts deal only with the portions that are directly pertinent to the site of Urkesh/Tell Mozan – even when they are just a short reference. The approach is primarily descriptive rather than critical, with a view towards presenting the view of the author. Occasional editorial remarks are given in black within square brackets. There is a separate website page for any given author. Within the author's page, individual titles are listed chronologically. Each abstract for any given publication is individually signed and dated. In these abstracts, sized in paragraphs, some peculiar keywords or relevant passages are bolded to strees the topic of each section. The list of the authors for whom abstracts are currently available is given on the left (see also the Urkesh specific bibliography). |
