Five limestone blocks can be seen, only four of which can be positively identified. The block farthest to the north (left) was tentatively designated as f254. Elsewhere, the feature is described as a natural accumulation in which other limestone blocks sit. The large stone is undoubtedly one of many that could not be linked to a specific structure and therefore were removed in the final days of the excavation. Note that they all were assigned feature numbers and measured with relays; we just do not know which particular one this stone was. f 236 C31 In view v97, this large limestone block appears next to another, f210. Its elevation is 35cm lower. Both are in the southern part of k108. Plot p27 places this stone 300cm south of the face of the revetment wall, f11. In feature f236, this stone is described as a possible memory stone which rests on wahal glacis f123. As the line of memory stones is north of the south face of f11, the description entered by file Qx09jW.j is in error.
