Description/Count
description (summary) 2006-8-22 bL floating limestone that intrudes f 123 [Input File: Q822bL1.j]
2006-10-09 jW One of a number of large limestone blocks placed along the top of the revetment wall, f11, in k22 as a conseqence of a major renovation that included a new wahal glacis system, f123 and f152. It intruded the glacis, f123, that covered the wall top. Since the mound was undoubtedly still sacred, the stones probably served as a reminder of the wall system before the plaza filled up and the wall was covered. We often informally refer to them as "memory stones." [Input File: Qx09jW.j]

stratigraphic reasons of assignment 2012-10-07 jW One of the arranged line of 46 large stones that comprise stone installation a16 which intruded glacis f123. [Input File: Wx07jW.j]
typological reasons for assignment 2012-10-07 jW We hypothesize that these stones, which roughly follow the alignment of the original EDIII revetment wall f11, were installed in the late Mittani period after f11 became covered with accumulation. We have sometimes referred to these stones as memory stones. [Input File: Wx07jW.j]
